Sport Licences

If you or a horse you own will be competing at an EC-sanctioned competition, it's important that you have an active sport license before a show begins. Partnering with organizers from across the country, over 400 sanctioned events are offered each season from bronze level shows with classes for beginners to the gold and FEI levels catering to advanced athletes. Sport Licences are categorized and coordinated with the levels of EC sanctioned competitions:

Bronze Sport Licence

$37

Participate at all Bronze EC sanctioned competitions.
Can be used towards obtaining or maintaining EC Coach Status.
Manage bronze levels of EC sanctioned competitions.

Silver Sport Licence

$132

Enables participation at all Bronze and Silver EC-sanctioned competitions or respective breed classes.
Manage bronze and silver levels of EC sanctioned competitions.

Gold Sport Licence

$218

Participate at all EC sanctioned competitions.
Manage bronze, silver and gold levels of EC sanctioned competitions.
Required to be an EC Certified Official (judge, steward, course designer, technical delegate).

Platinum Sport Licence

$330

Used for participation at all FEI sanctioned competitions within Canada and internationally (subject to permission as per discipline/breed sport rules).
Manage all levels of EC sanctioned competitions including FEI.
Valid for participation at all EC-sanctioned competitions.

Corporate Sport Licence

$495

A minimum of one (1) corporation/syndicate representative must hold an EC Gold or Platinum Sport Licence.
All athletes of Corporate/Syndicate-owned horses must hold a current individual EC Gold or Platinum Sport Licence.

Upgrade

Single Event Sport Licence Upgrades

Bronze to Silver / Bronze to Gold / Silver to Gold $55

Single Event Upgrades are a great way to test out a higher level of competition with less financial commitment. Not available from any licence to Platinum.
